But loooook!!
I took these photos the other day when Dan was caught in a conversation with the little old man from downstairs. I got a little bit distracted and started watching the honey bees on the flowers.
I actually took this on Saturday but just assumed the shots were rubbish because the bee was buzzing around the flowers to fast but I couldn't have been more wrong!
Looook!! This photo is awesome!... (a little fuzzy but still!) And it was taken on my iphone which makes this twice as impressive!
So, there you have it. An over-excited Ruthay and a lovely close up of a honey bee...(did I mention it was taken on my iphone?! Oh yeah....sorry.)

Chicken scan
We also have some young chicks and this little one hasn't seemed to grow for a few weeks so it's still tiny and makes a cute little squeak noise. She likes the warmth of hands and when you talk to her. Here's her cute little chicken feet :)

Bee Cup-cakes!
My two best friends came to see me yesterday. I've been pretty stressed out with my work lately so my lovely friend Laura, baked me bee cakes! She says she was procrastinating from writing her dissertation. What can you do instead of writing a dissertation? Bake your best friend bee cakes to surprise her!
I have the greatest friends ever :)

A day out...
Today I had an interview for a Junior graphic designer position in Beverley (And yes, the interview went REALLY well and yes I'd LOVE to work there but we'll see what happens!)
I had some time to kill to look round Beverley. I'd been there as a kid but can't remember it, so I hoped looking round would re-jog my memory, but it didn't unfortunately.
I took some nice shots of the quaint town, and visited the Church there which is beautiful. It's a nice place and I'd love to go back.

The Humber bridge with a bit of cloud.

Beverley, lovely little place.
A traditional butcher's. It had jam and jars in the window which was different.
A sweet /chocolate shop I ended spending a bit of money in buying gifts for people... they had the cutest chocolate I'd ever seen and it looked so traditional inside. I had to buy something. And then I ate the chocolate I bought on the train on the way home :) nom nom nom...
