C&G Photography's Panoramic view of Lincoln

Here's the latest photograph of C&G Photography's new photography piece. It is a panoramic view of Lincoln at night taken right from the balcony that you can see.
It's such a fantastic image that I had to share it.

53 Degrees North Degree Show

Dan and I stood in front of his work.

Dan's parents came to see our show so we went out for a lovely meal and went to see the show. Here's some photos that they took.

Artist Rosie Ablewhite

A few weeks ago, I asked Rosie if she could do me a painting of my Dad on a stone for his birthday. I wanted something which was different, unusual and something which would be a conversation starter. My Dad keeps bees in the bottom of the garden so I asked her to paint his portrait. A week later and this is the beautiful outcome. Talented Rosie, is the new artist in residence of Lincoln Art Works.  She draws and paints beautiful portraits of well-known people and celebrities. Her work is fantastic.

Lincoln Art Works

Lincoln Art Works has recently been taken over by a new owner and artist in residence, Rosie. I went along today as my brother, Julian (first picture below) and his business partner Brett were doing the photography. They have had an 'Opening Weekend' (Sat 3rd March-Sun 4th March 12-4pm). A lot of people turned up in support of seeing fantastic artwork from sculpture to metal art to illustration and photography. There really is a great range of artwork to see. Pop along and have a look if you're in the area. (7 West Parade, Lincoln, LN1 1NL) or see their website here www.lincolnartworks.com.

Julian stood next to his photography time-lapse pieces. He has an exhibition at The Lincoln Art Works on March 24th 2012. Come along and see his work!

Another time lapse!

I stayed out with my brother a few nights ago and did another time lapse. The gradual sunset isn't so obvious as the previous time lapse I did in November which you can see by clicking here. This one is still beautiful though. Thank you Jules, for editing this for me.

Photography in the snow...

My brother and I went for a little walk in the snow today up to Lincoln Cathedral to do some photography. Here are a few of the outcomes. I'm completely made up with how they've turned out! Thank you, Julian.

Swanholme Lake

Today my friend came to see me in Lincoln. We went out for a lovely lunch and then took a trip to Swansholme lake. It's so beautiful and all the lake was iced over. It's so strange to think that there's something so beautiful in such a busy, lively city. It's so peaceful there and completely took Fran and my breath away.
